Carine is a subject matter expert in ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT-4, inpatient, hospital outpatient, physician Evaluation and Management (E/M) coding, and Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI). Her inpatient experience ranges from acute medical and surgical to rehabilitation to behavioral health. Carine’s outpatient experience spans surgical, ancillary services, drug administration, emergency department, observation, behavioral health services, and E/M.
Carine earned a Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management from Temple University. She is an active member of the American Health Information Management Association and the Georgia Health Information Management Association. Locally, she volunteers for Nicholas House.
